What was that?
Apr. 9th, 2011 09:11 amSen. Jon Kyl (R-AZ) made outrageous claim that 90% of Planned Parenthoods business was abortions. Too bad he was 87% off, as it's a matter of public record that only 3% of their business is providing abortion by request.
But that isn't the best part. When he was cold busted lying on the Congressional floor, he or his office released this comment. He didn't 'lie', and that his comments were "not intended to be a factual statement"
Ahem, just because you add more syllables to "I lied" doesn't suddenly make it not a lie.

US exluded car, suicide bombs from Iraq murder toll

This little piece of the statistical spinning really has me pissed off.
These people were murdered, EOS. If you kill someone in the commission of a crime, then you are held responsible for murder.

Under the military definition, murders include civilians killed "who are specifically targeted," but do not include executions or "those killed in indirect fire, IED, VBIED, or suicide attacks, all of which may or may not be related to sectarian violence."
Executions, as defined by the U.S. military, include people who have been held, tortured and then killed and are considered to be motivated by ethnic or sectarian reasons -- unless they are some form of reprisal killingor related to crime.
