Fans of J. Michael Straczynski
I regret that I must convey the sad news that Michael O'Hare passed away today. He suffered a heart attack on Sunday and was in a coma until his passing this afternoon. This is a terrible loss for all B5 fans and everyone involved with the show wishes to convey their condolences to the O'Hare family. He was an amazing man..
Finally finished with that
Jul. 13th, 2012 06:24 pmSpent the week, yes the week, cleaning out two closets. It's not just sorting through clothes, tossing out old tatty stuff, bagging to be donated items, but it's the laundry. Things get musty smelling just from not being moved around. My legs are sore as all get out from doing deep knee bends over and over.
So now, I have another bag half filled with "to be thrown away" , and one over filled bag of "to be donated" items. Next, Wing is going to have to do the same thing on his side of the closet. I'm not going to, because I don't want to end up tossing something out that he wanted to keep.
So, I decided to start my Babylon 5 marathon. One particular episode, "Mind War", really chaps my ass. Not the episode itself, as it's well written and acted. What chaps my ass is this: If Jason Ironheart was such powerful Psi-entity, he should have not only discovered Talia Winter's sublimated Psi Corp created personality, he should have discovered it and expunged it. I know it's silly, but it's a huge plot fuck up, in my opinion.

Babylon 5 - The Lost Tales
Jul. 31st, 2007 03:44 pmI find it rather ironic, that JMS, who is an avowed atheist. made a movie that starts out with ( spoilers )
More later!
More later!
Been watching Babylon 5
Aug. 10th, 2006 05:10 pmAnd I have to say, I didn't notice it when it was broadcast, as there was no TIVO back then to rewind and look, but I have been rather entertained at the fubars and gaffs.
One scene, there is a bit of fuzz/fluff stuck to the camera lens for a scene (S5 Disc 1).
And on Disc 3 of season 5, first episode, the Centari Regent is cackling behind the throne. (does mystic Jedi hand motion) This isn't the boom mic you're looking for. You would have thought on the DVD release, there would have been some umm touch ups. :-)

Time doesn't march on
Aug. 9th, 2006 11:32 amIt friggin speed walks. Decided to break out the Babylon 5 DVDs. I still like the story lines, and dialog. And the fact that the aliens weren't like the "nose ridge of the week" club.
Deadwood, Babylon 5, The Avengers (original series), Farscape, Firefly, Carnivale, Hellsing.
Wow, can we say eclectic tastes? (wry grin)
Had a good session in the pool. Managed 20 minutes with the watershoes. You know you are having a great workout when you feel sweat trickling while you are in a pool. Was able to do deep knee bends and lifts with the water only up to middle of shins. I almost feel sorry for our dance students, because when I get full control of my left leg, I am going to be so fit, they will beg for mercy. *throws back head and cackles maniacally*
