Noticed on AcerBeast, the option of being able to allocate memory to video was missing. Now it was there before I had the harddrive crash, but now it's missing. Been on the phone with Acer support (nice tech support, very helpful) and it turns out I was lucky with Acerbeast. It had the 'wrong' chipset for the video, and can be set higher than the standard chipset. Yay me. So, Acer wanted to know what the tech who replaced the harddrive did. *sigh* Just called him, he said bring it down and he will reflash the bios for me.

_meegan_ 's house after PT today. Got her computer set to rights, and installed some good things she will be needing. She said no males are allowed on her computer anymore, as they keep screwing things up left right and center. At least she has a 'tame tech' (moi) to get things fixed. Ahhh, people are always using me for techs. *snicker*
At PT today, I got many strange looks again as I was singing to music not coming out of the speakers. A few noticed the headset, and started talking to me.
Took headset off and said "Pardon?"
"Are you listening to music?" (got asked this 3 times, I kid you not)
Uhhhh, I was so tempted to say "No, I'm painting the the ceiling" or something else totally off the wall.
