Listening to the Voices in My Head

Really didn't want to get up this morning, as I was feeling rather indolent in a warm cozy bed, with a purring cat nearby. Got up (reluctantly) and hauled myself into the kitchen, got the percolator going (yes, a percolator, not an autodrip or plunger pot). Four minutes later, ambrosia. I live. *sigh*

Got to the hydro pool a bit early, but that was ok. I was missed, and asked where the heck was I Wednesday! Went through the first few exercises (walking forward, making sure to go heel to toe) backwards (toe to heel) then sideways (for strength and balance). Those went well enough. Then it came time to prop the feet, one at a time while holding the bar and keeping back straight, against the wall of the pool and straighten out the leg. Right leg, no problem. Left leg?... well let it suffice to say I let out a muffled highpitched groan/scream, and held it there for 15 seconds. Then I repeated it. Not Fun.

Finished with the rest of the workout, and even though I have a sore lip from not wanting to frighten the rest of the 'paddling club', it did me some good.

This is a subject that has me a bit hot under the collar.

Synopsis: I had back surgery, and it will take at least 6 months before I can go back to teaching classes. Certain people have been spreading rumors and inuendo that our dance troupe/business is going bust/disappearing.

I personally am telling these underhanded, backstabbing, backbiting, two-faced shrews to S.T.F.U. because you might have gotten away with this sort of bullshit before but we aren't that tender and forgiving anymore.

The Black Swan Tribe is not going away.

We won't be doing much performing unless our senior students are up to it.

Teaching is still currently going on. We have combined the two Thursday night classes to get synergy between both classes. Other classes are still going as usual.

I will be back teaching when my leg is strong enough.

We will be back to performing shortly after that.

So shove your godsdamned rumors up your butts sideways. I hope this clears up (and shuts up) the current false rumors floating around.
