Listening to the Voices in My Head

Oh wow. 22mm with 3x, yellow filter, followed by light blue. Details visible too. So much for the commentary from someone one that 'just a 5" wouldn't get much detail'. Even with high thin clouds coming in, I could still see and track Mars. Must be patient, and wait for next clear sky night. Might try for pics even before DSI gets here. Want to stay up later, but have Tropicana tomorrow! Mustsneepnow.ZZZzzzzzzzzz

This was one of the best days we have had at the Tropicana. We packed the place today! People stopping to watch from outside, then coming into sit during. Much applause,and came home with glowywarmfuzzy feelings.

Stopped by Signman on the way home, and it turns out their mail server was glitchy and they didn't get the files I sent. They were most impressed by our costuming,and the general appearance. Came home,Resent them, got to see a proof, and told Vicki to run with it.

Running off more flyers/brochures while my hair dries. Still feeling the warm fuzzies.

Looks like clear skies again tonight, but I am knackered. Up until after 1am last night, then up at six. I have been going at full speed, without a break. I don't think I could manage to stay up to do any Mars viewing/photography if I wanted to, as I have another early start tomorrow. :-/

With help of my Un-Son Robin, I pruned the wattletree branches back that were killing other plants by keeping them in full shade, and the ones spanning the driveway. Need my own mulcher/shredder, even aikidomayland has agreed to that.
