"Intellectually" Intelligent

You're 'Intellectually Intelligent.' That pretty much means that you're good with theoretical ideas and concepts - but this comes to you naturally. More or less, you're a natural brainiac. Good for you.

I am extremely angry at this.

Two young women.

One, beauty student, busted for having pot in her unlocked body board bag, which she swears isn't hers (and she even tested clean of drugs), as it cleared customs in Australia, and she didn't see it again until she lands in Bali. Suddenly there is weed in it.  She gets sentenced to 15 yrs in a hellhole prison.

The other, an internationally known model, caught with some esctacy tablets while partying with a mininsters' SON, admits the pills are hers, and she is going to be set free in a matter of DAYS??!!!

Anyone other than me see this as double standards? Hypocracy?  The difference: One is a working student on vacation, the other has had her face plastered on magazines and was partying with political officials' son.

Dragging the telescope out there. Not too sure, but I think I discovered aproblem with the R.A motor drive. 4x and 8x speeds are fine, but the 2x, which is supposed to 'make up' for the earths rotation doesn't seem to be working. I checked the Declination motor and it's working just fine (and visibly) at 2x.  Since unit is under warranty, I can send it back, but this is such a pisser. I still have the old R.A. Motor, just wondering if I can adapt it for temporary use.

*ARGH!*

Who the hell ordered all those clouds and gusty winds???!!!

I tried, really I did, but the telescope was vibrating just too much for imaging. I managed to use the webcam for about 3 mins of Venus imaging, but then the clouds and winds really kicked in.  Gave up trying to get pictures/avis.

Got some good viewing of Mars, even with the 9mm eyepiece. Getting better at finding and focusing. Just a bit disappointed that it wasn't a good night for DSI. *sigh*

Even with all the wind, I managed to get a few AVI files of Venus. Because of the wind, however, I had to dock and remove parts of the avi due to excessive vibration of the image.

So, with no futher ado, I present, Venus, crescent )
